Serena & Erik – South Street Seaport and DUMBO Engagement Pictures – New York City Engagement Pictures
April 11, 2010

Today I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Serena and Erik for their engagement session at the South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. When I arrived, I was greeted by a pair of adorable snow-white Maltese puppies, called Sora and Toshi. The Seaport was bustling with activity as many families and couples were out enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. The five of us made our way around to the many notable highlights of this historic maritime area. Some of our stops included the Yankees’ Clubhouse (Serena and Erik are huge fans), Pier 16, and Fulton Street Market.
Here are a few of my favorite images from that day. Enjoy!

New York Stock Exchange Engagement Photos
April 10, 2010

Today I met up with Lana and Tim for their New York City engagement photos. They were both dressed up in long dramatic black coats which made the session have an almost Matrix feel. Tim and Lana added the sunglasses and we created the sequel. We started off at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), wandered around the Financial District for a bit and made it to City Hall. From there we attempted to take the subway to Brooklyn but weekend subway schedules were all messed up. Finally after a long unsuccessful wait, we ended up taking a cab across. Once we got over there, we took some photos on the historic Brooklyn Bridge and finished up our photo session in DUMBO. All in all, the day was absolutely gorgeous. The temperature stayed in the mid 70s and Lana and Tim were a blast to hang out with! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this coming August! Below are some of my favorite photos of the day. Enjoy!

January 3, 2010 – Morgan and Brian’s Winter Engagement Photos in New York City.

I am a little late in posting these engagement photos but better late than never! The engagement session began on one of those New York winter days where the thermometer outside read 20 degrees but if you were out walking around instead of nicely tucked in your home, it felt like 3 degrees. You definitely need to put your hands together and give it up for Morgan and Brian and their adorable dog, Joey as they braved the freezing cold weather and wind. We shot the engagement photos around the Museum of Natural History, one of my favorite places in the City. Below are some of my favorites.

Today I had an engagement session that took place at Grand Central Station, one of my favorite places to shoot! It is most definitely one of the most beautiful places in New York City. We found some really cool spots inside Grand Central for some very memorable photos. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

October 11, 2009

This morning I flew back to New York City from a weekend of photo shoots on the West Coast. I got off the plane and went straight to an engagement session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Thank God for my cousin-in-law Myra who was able to help me out for the photo shoot that day! We had a great day with Jim and Jasminka who definitely had enough energy for all of us. The images turned out awesome!

Today, I met with Carissa, Dustin, their mini Husky Kiba, and their next door neighbor Calvin, on the steps of the Museum of Natural History for Carissa and Dustin’s New York City engagement photo session. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees with low humidity. Calvin had come along to take care of Kiba and to watch the photo shoot. We started with photos in the surrounding area of West 81st Street and Central Park West before we headed into Central Park to finish the session. Their dog Kiba, (meaning “Fang” in Japanese), was quite popular with the tourists in Central Park. Kiba is from a very unique breed called the Alaskan Klee Kai. He got so many compliments and drew crowds of people watching him and wanting to pet him. Carissa and Dustin looked pretty dazzling too. Below are some of my favorites of the day. Enjoy!

Liz & Vance
September 2, 2009

Coming to New York City for the first time can be quite exciting! All the cool things you are going to do, all the amazing places you will visit, and all the delicious foods you’re going to try… Vance, a good friend of mine was back home in Connecticut visiting family with his girlfriend, Liz. Although Vance had been to NYC many times, it was Liz’s first time. I had the awesome opportunity to show Vance and Liz some of my favorite spots in the City. The day started at the Natural Museum of History, and then we proceeded to Bethesda Terrace and other notable sites in Central Park. Then we made our way to glamorous 5th avenue for some shopping and the famous Burger Joint for an early dinner. The line was long but boy was it worth it! After dinner we made our way to Times Square where we met up with my beautiful wife and got to taken in the sights. What a day! It was such a blast to hang out with Vance and Liz! Here are some pictures of our adventures!
