Memorial Day Weekend 2009!

While most family and friends gather together for the first BBQ cookout of the summer, Erica and Todd had a small, intimate wedding at Central Park’s Sheep Meadow. The wedding took place on the southeast corner of Sheep Meadow, a 15-acre, lush, green meadow for relaxing and admiring one of New York City’s greatest skyline views. It is also where famous scenes from It Could Happen To You, Fisher King, Wall Street, and Manchurian Candidate were shot. The bride, Erica, a fresh faced beauty and the groom, Todd, the adventure kite boarder were joined by their immediate families at the ceremony.

Priscilla and Hyman, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area but now living the crazy city life of New York City! Their wedding will take place back in the Bay Area but their engagement photos were shot here in NYC. They are truly getting the best of both coasts. What other place in the world will you have historic bridges converging on each other. Enjoy!

May 16, 2009 – Little Liam & Baby Danielle – Baby Pictures by Josh Wong Photography

This morning I headed up to the Inwood Area of New York City to meet Merav and her toddler Liam and her 2.5 month old Danielle. I don’t go up there that often, but every time I do, the views just amaze me. It was a strong overcast but we still made it out to Ft. Tryon Park. I just love the natural light that the overcast made. Enjoy.

I had the opportunity to photograph the FEED Project Tea Party at the National Arts Club in the Gramercy Park area of New York City. The event was hosted by Lauren and Sharon Bush to introduce the new addition to the FEED Project family, the FEED bear! Lauren developed the FEED bear with her mom, Sharon Bush who runs Teddy Share, a charitable bear company. The profits from each bear will provide Plumpy’nut (a peanut paste with vitamins and minerals created by Industrial Revelation) to malnourished children in East Africa. Celebrities that attended this event included Ashley Bush, David Lauren, Tracy Stern, Dylan Lauren (Dylan’s Candy Bar), Ricky Lauren (wife of Ralph Lauren) and Navyn Salem (Industrial Revelation).

I was contacted recently to photograph the debut launch of a jewelry line by Tana Chung, a style icon and a former Korean TV show host. Notable celebrities that attended included Alex McCord (Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York) and model Maggie Rizer.
