This past Monday, I had the opportunity to photograph the 17th Annual Feast with Famous Faces at the Lighthouse at Pier 61, Chelsea Piers, a culinary gala hosted by the Center for Hearing and Communication where top New York City chefs prepared some of their delicious signature dishes. Notable chefs that participated in this event included William Gallagher from Becco, Food Network chef Alexandra Guarnaschelli from Butter, Carmine Marletta from the Intercontinental Barclay Bar and Grill, and Dale Talde from Buddakan (who was on Top Chef’s Season 4).
That night’s best dishes included an absolutely decadent and creamy lobster bisque with warm gougères expertly prepared by Brasserie Cognac’s chef Florian Hugo, a heavenly jumbo crab cake by chef Anthony Walton from the Central Park Boathouse, Carmine’s yummy eggplant parmigiana, and a mouthwatering pork spare riblet with sweet potato bourbon mash by Hill Country.
It was a soap opera star-studded night with celebrity chair of Feast with Famous Faces, Kassie DePaiva from One Life to Live (OLTL), Michael Easton from OLTL, Bobbie Eakes from All My Children (AMC), Jamie Luner from AMC, and Alexandra Chando from As the World Turns in attendance.

This morning I flew back to New York City from a weekend of photo shoots on the West Coast. I got off the plane and went straight to an engagement session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Thank God for my cousin-in-law Myra who was able to help me out for the photo shoot that day! We had a great day with Jim and Jasminka who definitely had enough energy for all of us. The images turned out awesome!

DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Wedding Pictures- Staci & Adam
September 25, 2009

It was early evening; the sun was still bright over the horizon of the Brooklyn Bridge and illuminating the waters of the East River. As the ceremony time quickly approached, Staci arrived by cab. She looked like she had just stepped off the runways of Paris. She was flawless in a sophisticated ivory silk Nicole Miller wedding gown, a sexy pair of ivory stilettos by Les Tropéziennes, a simple pearl necklace, a small bouquet of pink-orange and yellow Dutch tulips, and a very chic silk flower mini veil in her hair. Staci had bought the shoes on a business trip in Milan even before she had even found the wedding gown! The delicate veil was made by Michelle, one of her bridesmaids. While the beautiful bouquets and all the wedding centerpieces were created by Staci’s sister, Annie. The bridesmaids wore sunset colors of bright golden yellow to buttercream yellow and held bouquets of orange Gerber daisies in their hands.

While Adam, the groom, was dressed in an elegant black suit and already standing in anticipation on the beach just under the Brooklyn Bridge. The couple had a glorious sunset ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. The wedding was officiated by Adam’s uncle, Arnold, a family court judge. After the family photos, the couple partied the night away at Bubby’s restaurant just steps away from the beach where the guests feasted on mouth-watering barbecued Texas style beef brisket and pecan-crusted salmon with orange butter. From personal experience, the beef brisket was AMAZING! Here are a few pictures and a video montage of the event! Enjoy!
