John P. Humes Japanese Stroll Garden Engagement Pictures – New York
August 9, 2009
At the brink of torrential thunder storms looming, Crystal, Eric and myself found ourselves rescheduling and rescheduling their engagement photo session… We finally settled on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Despite the chance of rain predicted, we were determined to make it to the beautiful and peaceful John P. Humes Japanese Stroll Garden in Long Island. As luck would have it, the storm never hit. Because of the chance of rain, we found that we were the only people in the garden for much of the day. In fact, the caretaker let us have the run of the place, so we went wherever we wanted and the photos definitely show it. Crystal and Eric were a great couple and the bee that stung Crystal towards the end of our engagement photo session made it day we will never forget. Fortunately, she was not allergic and is doing well. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding! Below are some of my favorite shots from their engagement session. Enjoy!
