September 15, 2008

Today, I was contracted to photograph the upcoming 16th anniversary of Actorfest in New York City. The event will take place on November 15, 2008 in the beautiful 12,000 square foot “Hammerstein Ballroom” at Manhattan Center Studios. This is expected to be the largest and most successful Actorfest yet and will welcome over 6,000 attendees. The final images will be posted on “Backstage.com”, an internet publication for actors and models.

Unfortunately, the images will not be available for viewing until after the publication goes to print. I will keep you posted.

Malee & David’s Wedding – Mohonk Mountain House, New Paltz, NY

Labor Day Weekend! I couldn’t give up the opportunity to shoot at this enchanting, historic Victorian castle. Malee and David were such a beautiful and happy couple to shoot, I think I enjoyed myself as much they did. Their wedding was an explosion of cultures, from the traditional Jewish Ceremony to authentic Thai dancers at their wedding banquet. The Thai dancers were a first for me and many of the guests at the wedding and were a wonderful treat to a beautiful day. I hope you will enjoy some of the images of the wedding below.  David’s grandpa, Malee’s brothers, and the entire bridal party were a blast to be with.

Mazal tov!

Below are some of my favorite wedding images at the Mohonk Mountain House Wedding Pictures.

Jennifer & Mark Wedding – April 26, 2008 – Central Park, Conservatory Garden – New York City Wedding

Jen and Mark’s wedding took place at the beautiful Conservatory Garden in Central Park, New York City. They had a intimate wedding of about 35 people, only their closest friends and family. It was one of those gorgeous New York spring days that gets you through those bittingly cold winter days. Jen and Mark had their ceremony in the South Garden of the Conservatory Garden and by far the most popular for weddings. They chose this garden because of their fondness for this wonderful fountain sculpted by the artist Bessie Potter Vonnoh to commemorate Frances Hodgson Burnett, the writer of the classic children’s book, The Secret Garden.

August 24, 2008 – San Francisco Ferry Building and Pier 7, San Francisco.

This was a exciting weekend for me. Not only did I shoot a wedding yesterday, but today was Tammy and Frank’s engagement photo session. They decided to shoot their engagement photos at the Ferry Building and Pier 7 in San Francisco. The two of them have lived in San Francisco their whole life and what better place to commemorate their engagement but the Embarcadero area and the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

Below are some of the images of their engagement session. To view their entire session, click here.
