Serena & Erik – South Street Seaport and DUMBO Engagement Pictures – New York City Engagement Pictures
April 11, 2010

Today I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Serena and Erik for their engagement session at the South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. When I arrived, I was greeted by a pair of adorable snow-white Maltese puppies, called Sora and Toshi. The Seaport was bustling with activity as many families and couples were out enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. The five of us made our way around to the many notable highlights of this historic maritime area. Some of our stops included the Yankees’ Clubhouse (Serena and Erik are huge fans), Pier 16, and Fulton Street Market.
Here are a few of my favorite images from that day. Enjoy!

Today, I was the official photographer for AutismSpeaks.org. I had the wonderful pleasure of following Bob Wright and Suzanne Wright around New York City and be their personal photographer to observe the Light It Up Blue campaign and the  beginning of Autism Awareness Month. Along the way, we met people of the likes of Yoko Ono, Tommy Hilfiger and co-Host of Bravo’s Top Chef Tom Colicchio. Bob Wright, the former president and CEO of NBC and vice chairman of GE until May 2008, along with his wife Suzanne Wright, founded Autism Speaks in 2004 after their grandchild was diagnosed with autism. Enjoy!

New York Stock Exchange Engagement Photos
April 10, 2010

Today I met up with Lana and Tim for their New York City engagement photos. They were both dressed up in long dramatic black coats which made the session have an almost Matrix feel. Tim and Lana added the sunglasses and we created the sequel. We started off at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), wandered around the Financial District for a bit and made it to City Hall. From there we attempted to take the subway to Brooklyn but weekend subway schedules were all messed up. Finally after a long unsuccessful wait, we ended up taking a cab across. Once we got over there, we took some photos on the historic Brooklyn Bridge and finished up our photo session in DUMBO. All in all, the day was absolutely gorgeous. The temperature stayed in the mid 70s and Lana and Tim were a blast to hang out with! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this coming August! Below are some of my favorite photos of the day. Enjoy!

Newborn Photography by Josh Wong – New York City
April 5, 2010

Today, I got a chance to schedule in some newborn photography. Even though I’m smack in the middle of doing my engagement photo sessions for my New York City Brides of 2010, how could you resist newborn photos. Newborns only stay at that age for a very short period of time. Hazel might not remember this day, but when she grows up and looks looks back at these photos, she’ll truly appreciate them. Enjoy!

Below are some of my favorite photos.
